According to his Ustream broadcast, WR Randy Moss will be making a comeback to the NFL next season. When we last saw Moss, he was a backup for the Titans via a second stop in Minnesota, via a trade from New England. Last time Randy turned on the legs for a whole season, Tom Brady threw for 50 TD’s, they won 18 straight, games and Randy Moss broke the single season TD Record with 23 TD’s and caught what was almost the GW TD in the Superbowl with 2:30 Minutes left….
What will he be in Madden NFL 13? Who knows, he should probably lose a few speed points, but the fact is he is still very big and effective even at 1/5 of his old Madden Powers!
Here are some potential teams who could be after Randy Moss. Which Madden team benefits most from his return?
Patriots – They had 1 on 1 coverage on the outside against WR Chad Ochocinco in the Superbowl, but were unable to make many big plays. They love to force throws over the middle to their start TE’s and Wes Welker. With Welker as a free agent, could they go back outside to unclog the middle? Many veterans have failed to understand their offense, but Moss has already thrived with Coordinator Josh McDaniels and Pats understand his Risk/Reward!
Where else could Moss Go? Titans, Raiders and Vikings have likely seen enough of Randy in their day to be out of the running. Possibly the Panthers? Moss will need a strong coach and veteran leader, although his deal will be likely easy to get out of it the Star WR can’t behave or turns out to be ineffective.
