NFL Wildcard Playoff Preview!

Lions At Saints
This game is predicted to be a shootout on all levels! This usually forces me to make a contrarian pick and say something like Saints 21 Lions 17. However, I still think this game will be a shootout most are predicting. Even if one team gets out to a MONSTER lead, the other team can throw all day long and will rack up yards and points getting back into the game.
If any offense was going to stall out, I think it could be the Saints in this game. They have had an amazing 8 game rhythm but every now and then will lay and egg. (Bucs game)
Detroit has also been hot, while the dome will be loud, they are used to playing indoors and can play fast.
Saints 38 – Lions 34
Steelers At Broncos
While most think the Steelers will come in and win in a blowout, they have many factors going against them. Big Ben is banged up and RB Rashard Mendenhall is out. Safety Ryan Clark can’t play due to a medical issue with altitude (Game at Mile High) I expect Denver to play better than the past 2-3 weeks have shown and keep this one close. Pitt can throw the ball better than most recognize, but a hobbled Big Ben and a rowdy crowd will keep this one close! So am I picking Tebow…Negative
Steelers 16
Broncos 11
Falcons At Giants
The Giants host a home playoff game for the first time in their new stadium. I will be heading down to the game and am excited to see how loud the crowd will be on Sunday! Atlanta is a very consistent team who has beaten everyone they were supposed to. They haven’t knocked off anyone great or shocked people this season but NYG will have to bring their A-Game. They need the team that beat Dallas and almost upset GB, not the team that lost to Washington twice. The Falcons will get their points vs G-Men secondary but only if the keep Ryan upright. New York will need to test the ground game but be ready to open up the attack if it fails like it has most of the season.
My completely biased pick and what I want to happen…
Giants 27
Falcons 23
Bengals At Texans
The Bengals backed into the playoffs with a loss to Baltimore last week, however they did have a great amount of unsuspected success with a 2 rookies playing big roles. AJ Green and Andy Dalton will have to come up big though for them to stand a chance next week. Houston starts a rookie in TJ Yates at QB, but he has great support from 2 big runners. He also gets back WR Andre Johnson and an offense tailor made to work for him. The Texans are playing their first ever playoff game and its at home. I can’t pick against them! Bengals haven’t beat enough good teams yet, but they looks scary in the future!
Texans 20 Bengals 16
