FREE Run N Gun Scheme (Video Guide)

Since Madden Bible started with a youtube Run N Gun guide (Over 100,000) hits combined, we wanted to release some more RNG action for our fans.

Now, In 08, the Run N Gun was the most potent offense in Madden, it was still solid in 09 but not as dominating. When Madden 10 came out, we dismissed this formation as cooked. However, after taking a deeper look and forgetting everything we knew about it the last few years, this playbook has some true gems in it.

Lets take a look at the audibles we need for this playbook

Goalline Off Tackle- Have to keep defense honest and be able to protect leads. This also allows us to use a PA Rocket Catch with quick audibles.

Full House Sweep- Best red zone formation in the game, we come out in the sweep and can still quick audible to run and the pass (from balanced) that is a quick hitter in the red zone.

SingleBack Y- Trips – WR Screen - The deadliest screen in the game, you MUST user this on defense so it draws tons of attention. Force them to set up to defend this and then look around to see what the leveraged to do so.

Gun 2 back – HB Direct Snap – The direct snap is a quick hitter to keep them honest, but the 2 quick audibles allow great protection and tough flat routes from the RB.

Gun Tight Flex - PA QB Read- A nice play to throw deep with. Also gives us a the option to get to a few other plays.

Set these 5 audibles up and lets get in the lab.

The play we like to come out in is Quick Looks out of Gun Tight Flex. We can get great protection by blocking the left slot WR. The UP quick audible is also a gem of a play.

The WR Screen is also another great play to come out in, you can quick hike them with it and break long TDs. Its in your audibles so you can always get to it whether you come out in either.

The only other play I will come out in…Wildcat. If you flip Jet Sweep (left) The RB doesnt take such a dramatic back step. You then can cut it up or pitch the ball outside to the RB. Many players can lock up the wildcat, but many still can’t do so. If its 2nd and 2, why not find out if the opponents defense is up to the challenge?

This book has plenty of other Gun formations to lab out, I literally only checked this out for an hour and went 3-2 at players bowl while using it. I never used half the plays above and still had success. Its a nice change of pace and while I LOVE the balanced and all the rockets I dropped this year, this is a fun book as well.

We also have a standard formation close formation in the video that makes this traditional and can help you guard leads. Its a mini scheme inside the whole scheme and all the plays and motioning look the same. You can literally use it for a whole drive and make everything look the same, while being completely different.
