How To Profit From Playing Madden!

How to Profit From Playing Madden

My Father always says ‘”Find a way to get paid for doing what you love and you will never work a day in your life.” Well, since I clearly enjoy playing Madden couldn’t there be a way to wrangle down some of those trash talking chumps online? If I had a dollar for every person that commented that I stink on my youtube videos and then 10 dollars for everytime I demolished them, well I would atleast own a PS3.

All jokes aside though, there are ways to make money at Madden and lets take a look at some of the most successful players of our time.

Len “Dynasty” Green Recieved 25,000 in cash and another 25,000 in Best Buy gift certificates for winning the 2008 Madden Challenge at Turks and Caicos Resort.

Eric “Problem” Velarde – Got cash and prizes totalling up to the 100,000 dollar mark!

Secret – won the 2006 Madden Nation challenge and the $100,000 prize money

Fool-Won 100K

Now Problem and Dynasty look to be playing a game for 5,000 dollars one time deal. Thats a lot of money where their mouths are so you have to respect them for that. I hope it is resolved by a straight game with no fumbles and just some good solid Madden. Good luck boys.

Now, you may not be able to make that kind of cake right away, but there are ways and strategies that Maddenbible has developed to pick up some side cash playing games. Madden was always the ultimate barber shop game where bets would always be accepted. However, many people do not have these locations in their area so that is out of the question. But, God Bless all the fruits of the internet as we now have a way to play Madden for money online!

However, before you start to play these games online lets go over some strategies for maximizing your earnings.

1. Never bet more than 5% of your bankroll on any game

So, if you deposit 100 dollars than you should start playing games for 5 dollars a pop to get comfortable. As you develop a bigger roll, you can up the amount bet on each individual game. This is one rule that is simple to follow but most easily strayed from. You think you have a opponent you know is beatable and bet your roll. Then you must travel around the city playing underground Madden games with your recently paroled friend “Worm”. (oh wait thats the plot of Rounders and your not as handsome as Matt Damon)

2.Be wary of double or nothing games

If you win, don’t jump right back in and try and take more money from the guy. If it was close, he has now seen your offense and knows what you run on defense. It could be his game to get that one fortunate play in his favor, also he could be setting up a trap. If you just got beat, take some time and let your emotions settle down before you get him back. (Besides its 3 a.m. and your mom keeps stomping on the ceiling to tell you to be quiet.)

3.Play your game and just win baby!

You don’t get paid extra if you win by 3 touchdowns instead of 1 FG. If you lose a big money game because you tried to run up the score than you clearly haven’t been reading Madden bible. Make sure that you run what you are comfortable with, just because money is on the line doesn’t mean the game is any different.

4. Don’t bet more than you can afford to lose

This should probably be higher on the list but it seems pretty obvious. If you have too much money on the line than you will think about what the ramifications are if you lose it while playing. This will limit your focus because you will be scared to lose the money. If you bet comfortable amount and lose anyway, you wont fret over it and can move on. This is one of the worst feelings on the planet. (Its magnifyed when you lose on a Romo fumble followed by a rocket catch TD in OT)

With that being said

5. Have Fun!

Thats why we spend time playing this game anyway. Any money we bring in is just an added bonus.
